Catxo López was born in Madrid.
He began his career as a director on Canal + directing music programs, concerts and music-videos. Soon after, he worked as an executive producer at Disney, and finally launched into the world of directing advertising, where he has won many awards in recognition of his work, he has directed more than 200 ads, and is represented in 40 different countries. Regarding his work in Fiction, TEMPORAL (Filmin), his first feature film, it’s a social criticism in a black humor key, with great success from specialized critics and selected in more than 20 festivals. He has directed episodes for MALAKA (TVE) and EL MINISTERIO DEL TIEMPO (TVE, HBOMAX).
Catxo López nació en Madrid.
Comenzó su carrera como realizador en Canal+ dirigiendo programas musicales, conciertos y videoclips. Poco después trabajó de productor ejecutivo en Disney, y finalmente se lanzó al mundo de la dirección en publicidad donde ha ganado muchos premios en reconocimiento a su trabajo, ha dirigido más de 200 anuncios y tiene representación en 40 países diferentes. Con respecto a su trabajo en Ficción, TEMPORAL (Filmin), su primer largometraje, es una crítica social en clave de humor negro, con gran éxito de la crítica especializada y seleccionada en más de 20 festivales internacionales. Ha dirigido episodios para MALAKA (TVE) y EL MINISTERIO DEL TIEMPO (TVE, HBOMAX).
